Our Method

Hot water upholstery cleaning to remove what vacuuming can’t

Different fabrics need different treatment — what works on cotton can damage silk or leather. Fifteen years of expertise means we know exactly which approach to use, applied step by step for a result that’s both deep-cleaned and fabric-safe.

Pre-Inspection & Fabric Test

We identify the fabric or leather type and test a hidden area first, ensuring we know exactly which products and cleaning methods are safe to use.

Dry Vacuum & Debris Removal

Loose dirt, dust and pet hair are thoroughly removed first, preventing debris from being pushed deeper into the fabric during the main cleaning process.

Pre-Treatment

A specialist pre-treatment is applied to high-contact areas such as armrests, headrests and seat cushions, helping break down oils, marks and ground-in grime.

Deep Clean

Using low-moisture extraction for fabric or a specialist two-part process for leather, we lift embedded dirt, allergens and bacteria without over-wetting or damaging the material.

Stain Spot Treatment

Stubborn marks such as wine, ink, pet accidents and grease receive targeted treatment, using specialist products carefully selected for the stain and fabric type.

Deodourise & Groom

A fresh deodouriser is applied throughout before the finish is carefully groomed and left to dry, leaving your furniture looking refreshed, feeling clean and comfortable, and ready to enjoy again.

Our 7-day upholstery cleaning guarantee:

If you can find a stain or odour that was missed, we’ll return within 7 days and fix it FREE of charge. No awkward conversations. No conditions. Just a clean result.

As a family business built entirely on local reputation, we’ll always do right by our customers. That’s a promise, not a policy.

Why method matters

The upholstery cleaning method for every fabric type

Fabric upholstery and leather need fundamentally different care. Fabric responds best to low-moisture extraction — enough to lift embedded dirt and allergens without leaving it damp for days or causing shrinkage. Leather needs a two-part clean-and-condition process: cleaning the grain, then applying a protective conditioner to restore softness and prevent cracking.

Unlike surface sprays or DIY shampooing, which can leave residue that attracts more dirt, our approach genuinely lifts dirt out — not just around. All products are certified, environmentally friendly and safe for children, pets and anyone with skin or respiratory sensitivities.

  • Eco-friendly & certified products

  • Safe for children & pets

  • Dry in 4-6 hours

  • Fabric-matched methods

Types of Upholstery We Clean

  • Fabric Sofas & Chairs — Deep extraction cleaning that lifts dirt, odours and everyday wear without over-wetting the fabric.
  • Leather Furniture — A two-part clean-and-condition service that cleans the grain and restores softness with a protective finish. [See our Leather Cleaning page]
  • Dining Chairs & Occasional Pieces — The same careful, fabric-matched approach for smaller upholstered items around the home.
